As a representative of the projects started in the fourth quarter of the New District, SKF Dalian Phase IV new Factory construction project landed in Jinpu with the wave of localization of the whole value chain, and will be built into a "carbon neutral" green intelligent manufacturing model factory. The project covers an area of about 90,000 square meters and is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2024. SKF Dalian production base is SKF Group's largest industrial bearing production base in China. At present, the first three phase projects of Dalian production base have been put into production, mainly producing all kinds of medium and large scale high-performance precision bearings, which are widely used in wind power, metallurgy, mining, cement, material transfer, construction machinery, industrial motor and industrial transmission, oil and gas and other fields. The new Phase 4 plant in Dalian is an important part of SKF's local presence and will once again upgrade SKF's local supply and service capabilities in China. It will not only improve the production capacity, but also build a research and development center in Dalian, equipped with advanced bench testing center and laboratory, to further promote the localization development of design, simulation, testing, process, test, research and development capabilities, to better drive the coordinated development of the surrounding industrial chain with the leading technology, and to help the high-quality industrial development of Jinpu New Area, Dalian City and Liaoning Province.

Lv Dongsheng, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of the New District, said in his speech that the construction project of SKF Dalian Phase 4 new factory is another heavyweight manufacturing project in the new District. The New District will earnestly do "no trouble, no responsibility, no questions will be answered, no mistakes will be corrected", to provide quality service for the project construction, create a good environment.
